All Stone Designs driveways are installed on G5 as a base. The base is rolled with a Bomag roller for compaction, giving the surface the strength to handle daily vehicle traffic without movement or settlement.

Once hardened, the cobbles are installed on 20mm Umgeni sand. Once laid, the cobbles are compacted using a plate compactor, then grouted and haunched — leaving an inviting, characterful entrance built to last.

We work with you on patterns, colour blends and edge details so the driveway complements the home rather than competing with it. Every driveway is tailored to its slope, drainage and how vehicles will move across it.
